Past Roles

I have worked as an art director, senior graphic designer, and as a freelance creative professional, working with brands including 7UP, Shell, Nokia, Cointreau, Electromixers, Downunder Vodka, Twistee Shots, and NBA’s Dallas Mavericks.

Before CDM Smith, I worked at G2 Promotional Marketing as their Art Director, building national retail promotions to boost sales for a variety of brands including Shell’s Rotella T, Quaker State, and Black Magic, Dr Pepper Keurig’s 7UP and Snapple, as well as multiple phone launches for Nokia. Read case studies on the Shell promotions and 7UP’s multiple promotions.

Prior to G2, I served as Independent Distillers USA’s senior graphic designer, launching their portfolio of 12 brands, including Downunder Vodka, Twistee Shots, and Mudshakes, into the marketplace. Additionally, I collaborated with the company’s marketing team to develop and design multiple on-premise and off-premise promotions for the different brands. Unfortunately, the owner passed away unexpectedly and the office closed down before any of the brands could have an impact in the marketplace. Read about a particular Downunder Vodka promotion.

Throughout most of my career, I worked as a freelance creative professional working with sports brands like NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, NHL’s Dallas Stars’ Mike Modano, and NFL’s Dallas Cowboys’ Troy Aikman. Additionally, I partnered with several entrepreneurs to help bring their ideas to life. Some of those products made it to the marketplace, others did not. The most significant was Electromixers. Read the case study of my involvement with the cocktail mixer.
